Abu Dhabi tolls (Darb) are charged Monday to Saturday, 7:00–9:00 AM and 5:00–7:00 PM at AED 4 per pass. Free outside those hours and all day Sunday and official public holidays.

Update from 1 September 2025: Evening peak becomes 3:00–7:00 PM. Morning peak stays 7:00–9:00 AM. Sundays and public holidays remain free. The daily and monthly caps are removed.

What counts as “Abu Dhabi Salik”

Abu Dhabi’s system is called Darb. People often search “Abu Dhabi Salik,” but the rules below apply to Darb toll gates.

  • Mussafah Bridge
  • Al Maqtaa Bridge

How charges work

  • Amount: AED 4 per gate pass during peak times
  • Vehicles: Most light vehicles are charged, certain categories may be exempt if registered for exemption
  • Outside peak: No charge

Quick planner

  • Commuting on weekdays, try to cross bridges before 7:00 AM, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, or after 7:00 PM.
  • From 1 Sep 2025, avoid 3:00–7:00 PM if you want to skip evening tolls.
